The Minister of the Palestinian Prisoners Issa Qaraqe stated that Abu Hamdia (64 year old) died after suffering from cancer as a result of medical negligence. He adds: “It is a serious premeditated and heinous crime committed against the captive Myassar due to medical negligence and reluctance to release him.”
The minister asked to form an urgent international committee for investigation into the circumstances of his death and being subjected to deliberate medical negligence for years ago. Qaraqe claims that the responsibility falls on Israeli government and the prison service.
