Syrian Army destroy terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Damascus Countryside

Units of the armed forces carried out a series of special operations against terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Damascus Countryside, destroying large amounts of ammunition and killing a number of terrorists’ leaders.

An official source told SANA that the army units advanced in Deir Salman town in the eastern Ghouta toward al-Khamsia town and al-Qaria al-Shamia, destroying several terrorists’ dens full of weapons and ammunition.

A 23 caliber anti-aircraft was destroyed in the operation, in addition to killing Jaber Turkeyeh, leader of an armed terrorist group, and terrorist Ahmad al-Na’al.

The source added that other army units killed Basam Hassoun, leader of an armed terrorist group, and dismantled 3 explosive devices weighing 25 Kg to the south of Water Foundation in Harasta city, while another army unit killed a number of terrorists near the industrial area in Douma, including Issam al-Bouidani and Khalil al-Haboush.

In Erbin city, other army units killed all members of an armed terrorist group and destroyed a bulldozer and a digger which were used by terrorists to make barricades in Hirmalla area.

In al-Ziyabiya town, the army units killed several terrorists, including Adnan Kandil and Nazim Shabania and destroyed a mortar and a machinegun.

The source pointed out that other army units killed and injured all members of an armed terrorist group in the mountains adjacent to Halboun town, including Mohammad al-Ghabra and Yusuf al-Boushb.

The army units destroyed terrorists’ weapons and ammunition in Rima farms in Douma area, killing a number of terrorists, including Jouma al-Masri.

Other army units continued operations against terrorists in Daraya city, killing and injuring several terrorists.

Ghassan Zarifa and Wasim al-Najar were identified among the dead terrorists.
