6 killed in bomb explosion near US embassy in Kabul

At least 6 people have been killed in a bomb explosion near the US embassy in the Afghan capital of Kabul, Press TV reports.

The US embassy went into lock down soon after the Saturday bomb attack.

Violence in Afghanistan has been on the rise in recent months despite the presence of thousands of US-led foreign forces in the war-weary country.
