Syrian Army progressing towards Tal Hamees in Al-Hasakah

The Syrian Arab Army is on a roll in the Al-Hasakah countryside after storming numerous Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) controlled villages in the province.
In 3 days, the loyalist forces were able to secure 16 villages near the ISIS stronghold of Tal Hamees; this resulted in the latter having to relinquish their control of several farms and roads that they possessed for over the course of 1 year.
As a result, the loyalist forces were able to capitalize on the enemy combatants weak defenses near Fooj Al-Maylabiyyeh; it would lead to the capture of the primary access point to the village from the Al-Qamishli – Tal Barak Road entrance.
The loyalist forces success did not stop there, contingents from the NDF were able to achieve a breakthrough at the village of Razaazeh – they would overwhelm the enemy combatants with a barrage of mortar shells and gunfire. The NDF killed a confirmed 18 ISIS militants before capturing the entire village around 10:15 A.M. Damascus Time.
Local sources in Al-Qamishli have reported a number of Anti-ISIS Coalition airstrikes in the ISIS-held village of Al-Shadaadi and the nearby oil wells in rural Al-Hasakah.
