Resistance of Iranians stops US from invading Iran

Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Thursday stressed that what has stopped the US from invading Iran is the resistance of the Iranian nation.

He added that Iraniansˈ resistance is the real ˈdeterrentˈ power against enemies.
The foreign minister is in holy city of Mashhad to visit a number of senior local officials.
Speaking to IRNA, he added when US officials talk about military options, this would ˈbe meaningless as this would serve the interest of no side.ˈ
Zarif added, “Iranians will resist against any threat.”
He stressed that the US has, so far, taken no advantage of its military actions against other countries.
Reiterating Iran’s mistrust towards the West, Zarif said “Iran would decide based on actions of western powers not their words.”
He added “Iran will continue talks, if Americans meet their commitments.”
He noted that making negative comments by US officials ˈwould neither benefit Washington nor damage the firm determination of the Iranian nation.ˈ
