US Confirms Midnight Strike Failed to Destroy Iranian Targets
The U.S. Secretary of State stated on Sunday that the recent attack on Iranian nuclear facilities did not succeed in dismantling Iran's nuclear program, noting that the assault caused only significant damage to the sites.
At a press conference outlining the details of the Midnight Hammer operation targeting three Iranian nuclear sites, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated that the Iranian nuclear facility at Fordow sustained “severe damage” rather than being completely destroyed.
The U.S. Secretary of Defense announced the conclusion of the American operation, emphasizing that Washington is not pursuing a regime change in Iran.
Hegseth stated that the preliminary evaluation indicates that the strikes achieved their intended impact.
In a bold assertion, Trump described the attack as unprecedented, issuing a warning to Tehran against retaliation. He insisted that Operation Midnight Hammer was the sole U.S. action amidst the ongoing Israeli hostilities.
