Malaysia’s Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein says that the search for the missing Malaysia Airlines plane is at a “very critical juncture.”

The Malaysian minister made the remarks on Saturday.

“The search for today and tomorrow is at a very critical juncture. So I appeal for everybody around the world to pray and pray hard that we find something to work on,” Hussein said.
The transport minister’s statement comes as Malaysian authorities are considering whether to reassess a challenging search of the Indian Ocean seabed, thought to be the resting location of the missing Flight MH370.

“We have pursued every possible lead presented to us at this stage, and with every passing day the search has become more difficult,” he added.

The minister said that the search “may include widening the scope of the search and utilizing other assets that could be relevant in the search operation.”

He also added that the search would not be abandoned.

The plane, carrying 239 passengers, went missing on March 8. It is believed to have crashed in deep remote waters far off Western Australia.

Although at least as 11 military aircraft and 12 ships have been engaged in the search, no debris or floating objects related to the missing plane have been found.

The relatives of the 239 passengers who were on board the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 have been accusing Malaysian authorities of withholding information regarding the fate of the plane.
