Military dominance era over: Iran pres.

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says the era when the military might could seal people’s fate is now over and every country of the world must be ruled by its own nation.

Speaking to reporters on the International Quds Day in the Iranian capital of Tehran on Friday, President Ahmadinejad said the world has entered an era, when human resolve, faith in divine religion and conscious thoughts decide the fate of nations, IRNA reported.

He added that the time has come for world nations to discard the codes formulated by arrogant powers.

“Numerous signs are now providing evidence for the bogus and unwarranted nature of the Zionist regime [of Israel]. The enemies have now been forced to make a historic retreat than to advance, murder and plunder,” the Iranian chief executive stated.

President Ahmadinejad expressed hope that long-sought justice will prevail across the globe once world nations work in close cooperation with each other.

Massive rallies have commenced in all Iranian cities on the International Quds Day in support of the Palestinian resistance against Israel.

Demonstrators have taken to the streets to express Iran’s support for the oppressed Palestinian people, and also to voice their anger at world hegemony and Israeli policies.

The late founder of the Islamic Republic and The Leader Of Islamic Ummah And Oppressed People Sayyed Rohollah Imam Khomeini designated the last Friday of Ramadan as the “International Day of Quds” to protest against and raise awareness about the brutal occupation of Palestine by the US-backed Zionist  Israeli regime and invoke support for Palestinians against the persisting occupation of their lands and massive violation of their rights.
