US to release Iranian professor next week

Dr. Attardi, an Iranian detainee professor, in the US will be released next week.
Dr. Rousta Azad, Chancellor of Sharif University of Technology, said: “with the follow-up work conducted in Dr. Attardi’s behalf, he will be free and come back to country next week.”

He added: “the US court has ordered his release, and he was given a week to leave the US territory.”

Dr. Azad declared: “we are considering a welcome ceremony at the airport, along with Sharif University professors, students and his family.”
