VIDEO: Fierce battles between the government forces and takfiris in Minyan town in western Aleppo

Fierce battles continue to rage between the government forces and jihadi groups in Minyan town in western Aleppo.

A military source said that severe clashes are now ongoing in the southwestern outskirts of Minyan with the government forces control the northeastern parts.

An alliance of jihadi groups have taken over Minyan on October 29 as part of a wider offensive to lift the siege imposed on rebel-controlled areas in the city’s east.

A field correspondent told Al-Masdar News that the pro-government Desert hawks fighters – who have been recently deployed to Aleppo – are now leading the military operations in Minyan.
