Syrian Army, Hezbollah begin counter-attack in west Aleppo

The Syrian Armed Forces, alongside Hezbollah, began their counter-attack against the jihadist rebels of Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) on Wednesday, targeting the aforementioned group’s positions inside the western suburbs of Aleppo.

Led by Suqour Al-Sahra (Desert Hawks Brigade), the Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah stormed the Minyan Suburb of west Aleppo after their nonstop shelling of Jaysh Al-Fateh’s positions last night.

According to an Al-Masdar field correspondent, the Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah are advancing inside the Minyan Suburb, despite limited air cover from both the Syrian and Russian Air Forces in west Aleppo.

Meanwhile, at the Al-Assad Suburb, the Syrian Armed Forces have continued their shelling campaign against Jaysh Al-Fateh, targeting their movements around this imperative battle-zone.
