VIDEO: Syrian Army fights off ISIS on the outskirts of Palmyra

Brand new footage released by Ruptly has emerged of frontline events near the Al-Mahl oil field in eastern Homs – yesterday, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and National Defence Forces (NDF) secured a 10 kilometer buffer zone around the oil rich site.

On Sunday evening, ISIS militants were forced to withdraw from four hills surrounding the Al-Mahl oil field due to extensive Russian air support, Syrian artillery units and machine-gun fire.
