Birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima al-Zahra (AS)

In a ceremony hosted by the Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Opressed People on the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima al-Zahra (AS), the revered daughter of the Last Messenger of Allah Hazarat Muhammad and the birth anniversary of Imam Khomeini, a group of poets recited odes to her great stature as well as poems with social and revolutionary themes.

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Opressed People Sayyid Ali Khamenei congratulated the birth anniversary of the greatest lady of all human history and the source of honor for the Islamic Ummah Hazrat Fatima al-Zahra (AS), adding that it was the duty of influential people in society to consolidate the foundation of public faith.

Ayatollah Khamenei added that the uprising of the Iranian nation had blunted the hegemonic claw of the world bullies and international criminal gangs.

“Today they intend to make hearts bereft of fair religious faith and its moving effects by making use of every new and effective medium and method, but with considerable effort and sense of responsibility their plot would be thwarted,” the Leader of Islamic Revolution said.

Ayatollah Khamenei also pointed to the great and impressive works carried out by the nation for 30 years since the Islamic Revolution, adding that hadn’t the Iranian nation made it difficult for hegemonic powers to control, dominate, and sack other nations’ resources the nation would have not earned their enmity.

The Leader of Islamic Revolution spoke of popularizing wrong, lustful political ideas and hobbies as well as causing fitna as the enemy’s policies to confront the forward movement of Iranian nation and their religious faith.

Ayatollah Khamenei asserted that one way to give depth to the Islamic, spiritual, and revolutionary understanding of the Iranian nation was to spread the love of Ahl al-Bayt (People of the House of the Great Messenger of Allah) in the hearts and minds of people.

The Leader of Islamic Revolution also added that Hazrat Fatima al-Zahra (AS) had had a life of endeavor and affected all political and social aspects of life like a self sacrificing soldier, and at the same time she had fulfilled all her duties as a wife and mother.

Ayatollah Khamenei praised Hazrat Fatima al-Zahra as a great exemplar for all women.
