Terrorist Hamadi: I Attacked the Army with Armed Groups Twice in Homs

The Syrian TV broadcast on Wednesday evening the confessions of terrorist Huzaifa Safa Hamadi, who confessed to forming armed terrorist groups with others with Saudi funding used to purchase weapons and Thuraya satellite phones, admitting that they attacked civilians and the army, assaulted public facilities, kidnapped three civilians and filmed false confessions by them before murdering them.

Hamadi, born in 1984, said that he was contacted by a man called Omar Hamadi who told him that “they want to form groups and needed money,” saying that a man from Saudi Arabia named Mujahed al-Turkawi will send funds for this purpose.

He added that Hamadi went to Bab al-Sibaa area to recruit members for these groups, meeting a number of men and telling them to that he will provide them with weapons and that they must each form a group.

Hamadi said that Omar purchased weapons with SYP 250,000 at first then al-Turkawi sent him SYP 2 million and later SYP 2.5 million, all of which was used to buy weapons, adding that the al-Turkawi sent the money to Tripoli in Lebanon and was brought to Syria by a man referred to as al-Hajj Khedr.

He said that they bought many types of weapons, including AK-47 assault rifles, RPG launchers and machineguns, and that the weapons were stored by a man called Bilal al-Ghen who had a large weapons cache.

Hamadi said that his group consisted of around five people and was located in al-Marija area, while the group headed by al-Hajj Khedr numbered 30 people and were located in a house he rented for them.

He added that there were two more groups of five people each headed by two men known as Abu Abd and Abu Nizar, while Bilal and Ghen and his cousin Samer al-Ghen commanded the largest groups.

Hamadi said that Omar Hamadi, Bilal al-Ghen and Abu Nizar told him and his group to attack the army, saying that the first time they attacked the army, an ambulance came and transported 4 injured men to the hospital, which was when Bilal told them to attack the clinic to which the injured were taken, saying that they went to the clinic and opened fire on it but didn’t see anyone getting killed.

“I attacked the army with the other groups twice, once near al-Fakhoura and the second time near the hospital… our group was a bit distant from the army so we didn’t see the dead army personnel, but we saw the ambulances carrying injured people… we were told that four people were killed in the attack on the clinic,” he said.

He went on to say that Bilal and his group would attack the army with all kinds of weapons and road the streets at night in three cars and shoot their guns, while al-Hajj Khedr was always located in al-Khalidiye area and only came to pick up weapons and ammo.

“Bilal al-Ghen and Omar would say that the army was attacking people and opening fire on them, but in fact that didn’t… we never saw them doing that… they asked us to open fire on the army,” Hamadi explained, saying that this was what al-Turkawi told Omar.

He added that al-Hajj Khedr brought in a photographer named Milaz to be in charge of photography, and that Bilal’s group which operated in Bab al-Sibaa area during the afternoons once returned with three civilians and beat them up, telling them to confess to being “Shabiha” while being taped, then they killed them and took them away the returned and uploaded the footage on the internet.

Hamadi said that they used the money sent by al-Turkawi to buy weapons which they distributed among the people of Bab al-Sibaa while the rest of the money was used to pay house rents, in addition to giving each member of the group SYP 2,500 on sporadic weekly basis, noting that he himself was only paid for a month.

He added that they also bought four Thuraya satellite phones distributed among group leaders, each of which had four cell phones, while the RPG launchers remained was kept by Bilal al-Ghen and his group.

The Syrian government says that the chaos is being orchestrated from outside the country and the security forces have been given clear instructions not to harm civilians. The gangs are financed and supported by US, France, Israel and their regional allies. This terrorist group kills civilians then blame the Syrian Security Forces. The US-Backed armed groups also kill the security forces. On the contrary to the reality in Syria, the world media misinforms the people and lies about what is really hapening in Syria. Especially Al- Ja zeera Tv and some west media are producing false news about Syria. These coloured media say that they will go on producing false news if Syria continue to be a key between the Iran, Islamic Resistances like Hamas, Islami Jihad and Lebanese Hezbollah movements.
