The Yemeni army and Ansarullah fighters gained full control of Jabal Al-Malah (Salt Mountain) in Ma’rib province after intense battle with the Saudi-led forces.

The Yemeni forces clashed with militants loyal to the fugitive former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi and the Saudi-led Coalition Forces in Ma’rib, and gained control over Jabal Al-Malah (Salt Mountain) on Wednesday.

A large group of the Saudi-led coalition forces were killed in the clashes.

Reprots said on Friday that the Yemeni army and popular forces seized back the two strategic areas of al-Sharija and Korsh in the Southern parts of Ta’iz and in Lahij provinces, respectively.

The Yemeni forces pushed back the forces loyal to former fugitive President Mansour Hadi and the Saudi-led troops from the strategic areas.

Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen for 252 days now to restore power to fugitive president Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh. The Saudi-led aggression has so far killed at least 7,116 Yemenis, including hundreds of women and children.

Hadi stepped down in January and refused to reconsider the decision despite calls by Ansarullah revolutionaries of the Houthi movement.

Despite Riyadh’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi warplanes are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.
