Western Countries, U.S want to separate Syria from Resistance movement

Spokesman and Member of the Iranian Parliament, in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency, unlined the duel policy of west in the Middle East.

Kazem Jalali Pointed to the duel policy of the west and underlined,” western countries know, very well, that chaos condition in Syria costs a lot, and that is the reason why, at this time, they are not after collapsing Bashar al-Assad government.

“Western countries want to separate the government of Bashar form resistance movement and that is the latent policy of west in Syria,” he underlined.

Jalali also pointed to the malignant media attempts against Bashar Asad government and said,” with such strategy, they endeavor to sensationalize the internal affairs of Syria.”

“They try to put the government under pressure and separate it from the group of resistance movement,” the MP said.

Kazem Jalali indicated to the position taken by Russia in the case of resent uprisings in Arab countries and said,” in the case of Syria, Russia selected a rational position and supported the country and its government.”

“On the one hand, Russian authorities are cognizant of this fact that chaotic situation in Syria costs a lot and on the other hand they always kept this fact in their mind that the U.S is after unilateralism in the region,” he said.

“Russian authorities know that the U.S just follows its interest in the region and Russia cannot withstand such policy,” Jalali mentioned.

The political analyst pointed to some agreements between the two countries as underlined, “It is true that in some fields, the U.S. and Russia have relation with each other but in some other cases Russia stands against the unilateral policy of the U.S and Syria is one of this cases.”

The parliament member also pointed to the recent approach taken by Ankara and said,” it was expected that Turkey take another position towards Syria.”

“There have always been some conflicts between Turkey and Syria such as the conflicts between the two countries in their borders,” said Jalali.

“But we think that Turkey should have realized the current condition of the region, then chose its policy toward Syria,” he underlined.

Jalali pointed to the foreign policy between Iran and Turkey and expressed,” Iran and Turkey have an amicable relation with each other and Turkey’s policy toward other countries would not effect this relation.”

“We have a fraternal relation with Turkish people and see them as our brothers,” said Jalali stating that but regarding the case of Syria, we (Iran) should have some negotiations with Turkish authorities.
