Leader of Islamic Ummah Imam Khamenei prays for success of President Rouhaniˈs govˈt

Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, currently in hospital after a routine surgery, prayed for the success of President Hassan Rouhani and his administration on Saturday.

“I always pray for you,” the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei told President Rouhani who visited the Leader at a Tehran public hospital for the second time after his successful prostate surgery on September 8.

President Rouhani met the ;Supreme Leader after the former arrived from Tajikistan where he attended the 14th summit meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

The SCO meeting was held in the Tajik capital city of Dushabe on Friday.

President Rouhani addressed the gathering and also held separate meetings with leaders of the participating countries on the sidelines of the summit.

“All leaders of the SCO’s member states, President Vladimir Putin of Russia in particular, offered their warm greetings to you,” President Rouhani told the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

The President referred to his bilateral meetings with the SCO’s leaders as “constructive” and “good”.

President Rouhani made his first visit to theLeader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei in hospital on September 8 hours after Supreme Leader’s surgery and before the President left Tehran for Astana in Kazakhstan on the first leg of his five-day tour to the Central Asia.
