With support from the US, ‘israel’ is committing ‘crimes against humanity,’ says Iran FM
Iran claims that the "terrorist and racist" Israeli regime has received unwavering support from the US and its Western allies in perpetrating "crimes against humanity" for many decades.

On Thursday, Nasser Kan’ani, the spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, stated on his X account that the Zionist regime is a racist terrorist entity responsible for severe and ongoing violations of the fundamental human rights of the Palestinian people. He accused the regime of committing crimes against humanity for many years with substantial backing from Western nations, particularly the United States.
He stated that the Israeli government has caused the deaths of 40,000 innocent Palestinians, including approximately 15,000 children, and has injured over 100,000 individuals in the Gaza Strip over the course of its 10-month conflict.
The Iranian spokesperson highlighted that since the war in Gaza started in October, thousands of Palestinians have also been unaccounted for beneath the rubble.
Kan’ani criticized US officials for “brazenly” labeling Palestinians and resistance groups as terrorists while expressing their support for Israel, which he accused of committing crimes.
“The United States government asserts its dedication to protecting Israel against what it labels as ‘terrorists.'”
Kan’ani highlighted that the American government, employing what he called “absurd and false logic,” is supplying the Israeli regime with financial aid, weaponry, and political backing to support its actions against Palestinians, which he described as genocide.
He stated that the United States’ unwavering support for Israel is utterly shameful and renders Washington accountable for legal action, which can be pursued through judicial means as part of an international duty of nations.
On October 7, 2023, Israel initiated a military campaign against Gaza following an unexpected counteroperation by Palestinian resistance groups in the occupied territories.
Alongside the ongoing conflict, the regime has imposed an almost complete blockade on the coastal region, significantly limiting the supply of food, medicine, electricity, and water to the Palestinian area.
