Yemen Launches Retaliatory Strikes on US Aircraft Carrier and Zionist Target Following Lethal Assaults
The Yemeni Armed Forces have conducted two distinct retaliatory strikes against the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier and its accompanying vessels in the Red Sea, as well as targeting a significant location within Israeli-occupied territories. These actions follow renewed U.S. aggression towards the Arab nation.

In a statement released on Monday, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman for Yemen’s military, reported a coordinated attack by Yemeni naval and air units targeting a Nimitz-class vessel belonging to the United States Navy, along with additional American warships. The operation involved the deployment of domestically produced cruise and ballistic missiles, as well as combat drones.
The military strikes compelled the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier, along with its accompanying vessels, to withdraw in a northerly direction.
Saree announced that the strikes were a response to lethal U.S. air raids targeting the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, and a migrant detention facility in the northwestern city of Sa’ada.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced their intent to persist in targeting the US Navy vessel along with all hostile warships in the Red and Arabian Seas until the ongoing aggression against Yemen comes to an end, according to a statement by Saree.
Yemeni drone units have reportedly targeted a strategic location in the city of Ashkelon, situated in the southern region of the contested territories, using an indigenously-developed Yaffa unmanned aerial vehicle.
A spokesperson for the Yemeni military announced that their recent retaliatory operation was conducted in solidarity with Palestinians in the blockaded Gaza Strip, in response to the ongoing and intense conflict in the region.
In a recent statement, Saree emphasized that efforts will persist to block the passage of Israeli-linked vessels in the Red and Arabian Seas while opposing U.S. actions. He also affirmed continued support for allies in the Gaza Strip until the current offensive against them ceases and the stringent blockade is fully lifted.
In response to actions by Israel in Gaza and the perceived aggression by the United States and the United Kingdom in Yemen, the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched a series of strikes targeting Israeli, American, and British interests in the Red Sea and surrounding areas.
In response to the intensifying conflict in Gaza, Yemeni authorities have initiated a strategic blockade targeting crucial maritime routes. This move aims to hinder the flow of military supplies to Israel and calls on the global community to address the pressing humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced their intention to persist with their attacks until Israel halts its military operations, both on the ground and from the air, against Gaza.
