Yemeni and Iraqi forces initiate attacks against ‘israel’ in response to its military operations in Gaza and Lebanon

Yemeni armed forces, alongside Iraqi anti-terror resistance groups, have launched a series of operations targeting Israeli-associated vessels and strategic locations within the occupied territories. These actions come in response to recent Israeli military actions in Gaza and Lebanon.

In a recent development, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, announced on Thursday evening that the Yemeni military launched an attack on the American oil tanker “OLYMPIC SPIRIT” in the Red Sea. The operation reportedly involved the deployment of 11 ballistic missiles and two combat drones.

He reported that the vessel had been directly struck, resulting in significant damage.

Yemeni military spokesperson Saree announced that a coordinated operation was executed involving missile systems, air defense, and naval units of the nation’s armed forces.

According to his statement, a second military operation was conducted against the Malta-flagged container ship, St. John, situated in the Indian Ocean. This vessel was reportedly hit by a cruise missile.

According to Saree, the vessel breached Yemen’s prohibition on commercial ships traveling to ports located in the territories under Israeli occupation.

He emphasized that Yemen’s armed forces remain committed to maintaining a naval blockade on vessels bound for Israeli ports within their operational reach. This action will persist in support of Palestine until the Tel Aviv administration ceases its offensive in Gaza, entirely lifts the blockade on the coastal region, and halts its destructive attacks on Lebanon.

In a recent development, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, a coalition of multiple Iraqi resistance factions, declared on Friday morning that it executed a fresh operation against an Israeli location within the occupied Palestinian territories.

The resistance group announced that they successfully targeted a “critical site” in Eilat’s port city through the deployment of drones.

In a recently released statement, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that on Friday, November 10, 2024, its forces carried out a drone strike on a strategic target in the occupied city of Umm al-Rashrash, also known as Eilat. This action is part of their ongoing efforts to oppose occupation and show solidarity with the people of Palestine and Lebanon. The group stated the attack was a response to recent atrocities perpetrated by what they described as the “usurping entity,” targeting civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing operations targeting strategic facilities within Israeli-controlled regions.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has initiated a series of assaults on Israeli targets following the commencement of hostilities by the Israeli regime in Gaza, described as genocidal, since early October of the previous year.

The coalition has launched strikes on American military installations in Iraq and Syria as a response to Washington’s backing of what it perceives as Israeli actions in Gaza.
