In September of last year, the Israeli military conducted an airstrike targeting the same fire station, resulting in injuries to four civil defense personnel.
In a recent development, a similar assault targeted a civil defense center located in the an-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, resulting in the deaths of four employees.
