Zionist airstrikes in the Bureij refugee camp in Gaza have resulted in the deaths of 15 Palestinians

Zionist airstrikes on the Bureij refugee camp have resulted in the deaths of at least 17 Palestinians, including five children and two women, and have left dozens injured. This incident occurs as the conflict in the besieged region, supported by the United States, marks its second year.

An Israeli airstrike targeting two distinct sites within a refugee camp in central Gaza on Monday night has resulted in at least 25 individuals sustaining injuries.

According to the Palestinian news outlet Wafa, an Israeli military operation targeting a residence in Block 3 of the camp resulted in the deaths of nine Palestinians. In a separate incident, strikes on tents housing displaced individuals claimed the lives of an additional three people.

According to reports, emergency workers are actively engaged in search and rescue operations in the region, where numerous individuals remain trapped beneath the debris.

In another development in southern Gaza, an Israeli airstrike targeted the Khirbet al-Adas area, situated north of Rafah, resulting in the death of one Palestinian and causing injuries to several others.

Following a day of intense military action by Israeli forces that resulted in the deaths of at least 77 individuals throughout the Gaza Strip, Israeli warplanes launched significant airstrikes on the Jabalia refugee camp and the town of Jabalia, located in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

In addition, airstrikes targeting Gaza City and Beit Lahia have resulted in the deaths of five Palestinians, with many others sustaining injuries.

The Gaza Strip continues to endure relentless attacks amid ongoing Israeli military operations, resulting in the deaths of at least 41,909 individuals and injuries to 97,303 others, predominantly women and children, as the conflict enters its second year.

According to a newly released report from the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, headquartered in Geneva, approximately 10 percent of Gaza’s inhabitants have either been killed, wounded, gone missing, or have been detained amid ongoing Israeli military operations.

The report presents an account of systematic acts of genocide purportedly conducted in Gaza, highlighting incidents such as targeted attacks on civilians located in residential areas, shelters, displacement camps, and zones officially designated for humanitarian protection.

In the aftermath of the October 7, 2023 assault, Israel officially entered a state of war, as announced by its President, Prime Minister, and leading political and military figures. The stated objectives were the dismantling of Hamas, the liberation of hostages, and the re-establishment of security. Consequently, Operation Iron Swords was launched, marking the commencement of an intense military campaign that exacerbated the hardships faced by civilians in Gaza, according to the report.

Following a prolonged conflict in Gaza that fell short of its military goals, Israeli forces have redirected their attention towards Lebanon, while ongoing operations in Gaza persist.

Reports indicate that Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon have resulted in the deaths of more than 2,000 individuals, with thousands more having been forced to flee their homes, primarily in the southern regions of the country.

This development occurs as Palestinian resistance factions, along with their allied groups in regional nations such as Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, persist in their operations against the Tel Aviv administration and its Western supporters.
