Zionist Regime Against Humanity Launches Airstrikes on Yemen’s Hudaydah

Israeli warplanes have launched another series of airstrikes targeting Yemen's strategically significant western province of Hudaydah. This military action follows threats by the regime to bomb three key ports in Yemen in response to drone and missile attacks carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces.

The pan-Arab al-Mayadeen television network reported that Israeli fighter jets launched attacks on several locations in the port of Hudaydah on Tuesday morning. However, the report did not provide additional information regarding potential casualties or the scale of damage inflicted.

The aerial strikes occurred just hours following an “urgent” evacuation warning issued by the Israeli military for three ports located on Yemen’s western coast.

Colonel Avichay Adraee, the Arabic-language spokesperson for the Israeli military, announced via a post on his social media platform, X, that airstrikes are planned to target the ports of Ras Isa, Hudaydah, and Salif.

Operations at Ben Gurion Airport were temporarily suspended on Monday evening following an announcement from the Israeli military, which reported intercepting a missile launched from Yemen.

Israeli Channel 12 has reported that operations at the airport, situated approximately 20 kilometers southeast of Tel Aviv, have been temporarily suspended following a missile launch originating from Yemen.

On Thursday night, the Yemeni military announced it had conducted a “hypersonic ballistic missile attack” targeting Ben Gurion Airport.

The Yemeni military spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced that the operation was conducted in retaliation to what was described as the “Israeli crime of starvation and thirst in Gaza” as well as the “enemy’s aggression against the southern suburbs of Beirut,” according to a statement broadcast by the al-Masirah television channel.

He stated, “Our support for Gaza will remain steadfast until the cessation of aggression and the lifting of the blockade.”

The Israeli Defense Forces reported that air raid sirens were activated across numerous cities and communities, including al-Quds, various settlements within the occupied West Bank, and the vicinity surrounding Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv. This prompted residents to seek refuge in shelters and safe rooms.

Military officials reported that their anti-air missile systems successfully intercepted a projectile launched from Yemen.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced their firm stance, stating that they will continue their retaliatory actions unabated until Israel puts an end to its ground and air assaults in Gaza.

The ongoing conflict in Israel has tragically claimed the lives of at least 54,927 Palestinians, with a significant number of victims being women and children.
