Zionist Regime Drone Strike on Motorcycle in Southern Lebanon Violates Ceasefire, Leaves One Dead
In a recent breach of the fragile ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, Israeli military forces launched an aerial strike in the southern region of the Arab nation, resulting in the death of at least one individual.

Lebanese media, quoting unnamed local sources, indicated that an Israeli drone launched a guided missile targeting a motorcycle on the road connecting the al-Mansouri neighborhood to Majdal Zoun in Tyre district on Tuesday.
According to Israeli Army Radio, the attack was directed at a member of the Hezbollah resistance group.
The development followed a day after an individual associated with Hezbollah lost their life, and three civilians sustained injuries amidst a series of Israeli air and ground assaults aimed at multiple locations in southern Lebanon.
The National News Agency (NNA) has reported that an airstrike by Israeli forces has hit the perimeter of the village of Houla.
A Lebanese security source, speaking on condition of anonymity, has confirmed that a Hezbollah member named Issa Qutaish, hailing from Houla, was killed in the recent strike.
According to the National News Agency, two individuals sustained injuries following an Israeli drone strike on a motorcycle in the Wadi Sarbin region. Additionally, another person suffered a shoulder injury after Israeli forces reportedly opened fire at the entrance of Kafr Kila village.
On Saturday, the Israeli military announced in a statement that it had carried out an operation resulting in the death of a Hezbollah commander in southern Lebanon.
Multiple Israeli media outlets have reported an attack on a commander by a drone while he was inside a vehicle. According to these reports, the commander had been “involved in the rebuilding of Hezbollah infrastructure in the region.”
Following the initiation of the ceasefire, the occupying forces have continued to launch attacks on Lebanon. These actions include airstrikes across the Arab country, representing a violation of the agreement.
On January 27, 2025, Lebanon declared its plan to prolong the ceasefire agreement with Israel, extending it until February 18.
Despite the February 18 deadline having elapsed, Israel persists in its occupation of five key areas in southern Lebanon. These regions include Labbouneh, Mount Blat, Owayda Hill, Aaziyyeh, and Hammamis Hill, all located in proximity to the border.
Lebanon has denounced the ongoing presence of Israeli military forces, characterizing it as a breach of the ceasefire agreement and the agreed timeline for withdrawal. High-ranking officials in Beirut have reaffirmed their commitment to pursuing “all necessary measures” to expel the occupying troops from the country.
