Syria terror attacks kill 7 civilians, injure scores

Seven Syrian citizens have been killed and scores of others wounded in terrorist attacks by foreign-backed insurgents across the Arab country as government forces continue to inflict heavy blows in its battle against intruding armed militants.
In Hasaka province, terrorists blew up a car bomb outside Osama Bin Zaid School at the entrance of Ras al-Ain city, killing two civilians and causing several other casualties, Syrian state news agency SANA reported, citing sources in the Police Command.
A second car bomb went off almost simultaneously in Souk al-Khamis in Tal Hallaf village in Hasaka countryside, killing five more citizens and wounding several others, the report added.
Meanwhile, five civilians, including two children, were injured as a mortar shell was fired by terrorists on al-Akaybeh neighborhood near al-Amara area in the capital Damascus.
According to police sources cited in the report, mortar shell landed on a garage in the neighborhood, wounding five civilians, including two 4- and 5-year-old children, and causing material damage to a number of vehicles.
Other two shells landed in al-Qazzazeen and al-Salhya neighborhoods causing material damages with no casualties.
According to the report, 22 other civilians were also wounded on Thursday as 16 mortar rounds launched by foreign-backed terrorists exploded in Jaramana city in Damascus countryside, also damaging a number of vehicles and shops.
Earlier on Wednesday, six citizens were killed and another 32 wounded due to mortar attacks against the city, which has been repeatedly targeted by armed insurgents in the country.
Additionally, a woman was wounded when two explosive devices that terrorists planted in a garbage can in Abi al-Fidaa Street in Hama city went off. The blast also damage to passing vehicles.
