zionist Sisi Regime replaces intelligence chief

Egypt has a new intelligence chief. Khaled Fawzi has sworn in before president Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi. Fawzi previously served as the head of the national security apparatus in the general intelligence body. He’s now replacing Mohamed Farid al-Tohami who is said to have retired due to health reasons.
However, anti-government forces led by the Islamic stream argue that a rift within state bodies could be behind the change. Other monitors have a different view on the removal of Tohami, a man who served for a long time under ousted dictator Hosni Mubarak, and was also perceived to be Sisi’s mentor, and a so-called hawk. The latest political change comes as Egypt nears the fourth anniversary of a revolution that toppled long-time dictator Hosni Mubarak. President Sisi is facing mounting pressure following Mubarak’s acquittal of murder and corruption charges in November. In the meantime, there’s a general sense that the stage is being set for the members of Mubarak’s former ruling national democratic party to sweep upcoming parliamentary elections. Whatever the motives behind the change in one of Egypt’s top posts are, observers here believe that it implies fresh policies at home, and a reshaping of relations with key regional, and international powers, at this sensitive time. Now, time will tell whether the changes will lead to the easing of existing crises, or not.
