Zionist Terror Regime Launches Airstrikes on Beirut, Lebanon

In a significant breach of the ongoing ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah, Israeli forces have launched an airstrike targeting the capital of Lebanon, Beirut.

A plume of smoke was observed rising over a building in Beirut’s southern suburbs of Dahiyeh following an airstrike by the regime on Sunday, according to reports.

An Israeli airstrike inflicted considerable destruction, shattering windows and damaging vehicles in the vicinity.

Earlier in the day, military spokesperson for the regime, Avichay Adraee, released an “urgent warning” targeting individuals residing in the southern suburbs of Beirut, with a particular emphasis on the Hadath neighborhood.

In a post on X, he urged followers with a directive to “evacuate immediately.”

He stated that individuals located in the building highlighted in red on the attached map, along with those in adjacent structures, are in proximity to Hezbollah facilities.

Hezbollah has yet to issue any statement regarding the attack.

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has issued a stern denunciation of the recent Israeli airstrike on Beirut, urging the United States and France to uphold their roles as guarantors of the ceasefire in Lebanon and to exert pressure on Israel to halt its breaches of the accord.

Aoun issued a warning, stating that Israel’s activities are undermining stability in Lebanon and heightening tensions, thereby presenting considerable risks to regional security. In the wake of the airstrike, smoke was observed billowing from the Dahiyeh suburbs of Beirut, although there have been no reports of casualties.

Earlier this month, an Israeli airstrike resulted in the deaths of four individuals, including a Hezbollah official, in the southern suburbs of Beirut. This marked the second Israeli attack on the Lebanese capital within a span of five days.

A Sunday assault has emerged as the most recent breach of the ceasefire accord that concluded the full-scale conflict against Lebanon last November.

In spite of the ceasefire agreement, Israeli military operations have persisted with almost daily strikes on individuals and targets throughout the nation.

Earlier today, Lebanon’s health ministry reported that Israeli forces were responsible for the death of an individual in the border town of Halta, located in southern Lebanon. Officials stated that the victim was a civilian engaged in work at his chicken farm.
