The leader of the Islamic Revolution remarks at Imam Reza’s shrine

The leader of the Islamic Revolution said, “The realities of the world community do not go according to the US desire.”

According to IRIB World Service, speaking to millions strong pilgrims of Imam Reza’s mausoleum in Mashhad on the first day of 1393 Iranian year, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei added, “What the Global Arrogance, especially the US, pursued in Iran, Palestine, Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan was not materialized and will never be materialized either.”
The leader also said, “The United States tried very much to turn Palestine into a Jewish country; that’s to say that every Palestinian, whether Muslim or Christian, won’t be able to live in this land but all its ploys have been foiled in this regard and these efforts won’t bear fruit in the future, either.”
Emphasizing that the Iranian nation should empower itself not to be subjected to the enemies’ bullying, Ayatollah Khamenei made it clear that if a nation is not powerful, the world bullies will bully it and will assault and insult it.
Stressing that a nation’s empowerment is not restricted to mere warfare arms, the leader said, “If the three elements of economy, culture and science exist in a country, it will be powerful.”
Ayatollah Khamenei underscored, “In the economic sphere, if the Iranian nation resolutely decide and give hand in hand, they will be able to make economy flourish and will not wait for lifting of sanctions.”
Leader of the Islamic Revolution considered culture more important than economy and reiterated, “Culture is tantamount to the air that you breathe. If it is clean it has an effect and if it is dirty it will have another effect.”
Noting that the Islamic Iran has a lot of capabilities, facilities and capacities for getting powerful, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said, “Our nation has set out toward national might and has covered a long path; and on this basis the general design of the year 1393 will be manifested in the two elements of economy and culture with national resolve and jihadi management.”
Referring to the massive turnout of the Iranian nation in last year’s presidential election and the Bahman 22 demonstrations, the leader said that the people’s wide participation in creation of these political epics meant that the popular religious rule has been internalized in the country.
Speaking on the impudent and insulting tone of the Americans against the Iranian nation in the past year, Ayatollah Khamenei said, “The Iranian nation are wholeheartedly bound to the Islamic Republic system and their revolution. This shows the sensitiveness and honour of the Iranian nation vis-à-vis the hostility and mischief of the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
