ISIL in Trouble in Eastern Hama as Syrian Bombers Hit Group’s Route to Strategic Town

 

The Syrian and Russian fighter jets carried out a number of combat flights over ISIL’s supply lines to the strategic town of Aqayrabat on Monday as Army troops continued operation in Eastern Hama to expel terrorists from the region.

The Syrian and Russian warplanes carried out several rounds of combat sorties over ISIL’s defene lines and movements in the Eastern countryside of the Hama province, striking ISIL’s supply lines near Aqayrabat.

A military source, meantime, reported that the fighter jets have repeatedly bombed ISIL’s supply lines in Eastern Hama to pave the way for the Russian and Syrian soldiers to launch a large-scale operation in the region soon.

Relevant reports said on Sunday that the Syrian and Russian warplanes carried out continued combat flights over ISIL’s defense lines in Eastern Hama, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

The fighter jets bombed heavily ISIL’s positions in the villages and towns of Aqayrabat Emamil, al-Barqoutiyeh and Abu Hanaya in Eastern Hama, destroying several positions and a command post and killing or wounding a large number of terrorists.

In the meantime, the Syrian army’s artillery and missile units shelled ISIL’s concentration centers and movements across frontlines in Eastern Hama, killing and wounding a number of terrorists.
