Over 100 Takfiri militants turned themselves in to the Syrian authorities in the province of Dara’a on Monday as the terrorists continue to lose ground in the country.

Informed sources said the militants surrendered to the competent authorities to be pardoned.

On Sunday, over 180 wanted militants turned themselves in to the Syrian authorities in Dara’a.

Earlier on Sunday, the Syrian government announced that it has released tens of militants who had been jailed for armed struggle against the Damascus government.

President Bashar Assad’s government freed 270 militants within the framework of the country’s reconciliation plan, the Arabic service of Russia Today television channel said.

The recent victories of the Syrian army and National Defense Forces (NDF), with the back up of the Russia fighter jets, have caused too many Takfiri terrorists to lay down their guns and apply for government pardoning.
