Iran, Portugal Hold Economic Commission Meeting

The 2nd Iran-Portugal economic commission meeting was held in Portuguese city of Cascais.

During the meeting, the Iranian and Portuguese businessmen reviewed the ways for cooperation between the two countries’ provinces.

They also declared Shiraz of Iran and Cascais of Portugal as sister cities.

Addressing the meeting, Iran’s Ambassador to Portugal Hossein Qaribi called for enhanced economic cooperation between Tehran and Lisbon in all fields.

The Iranian diplomat also underlined the importance of development of ties between the two countries of Iran and Portugal.
