Saudi wahhabi monarchy preaches against terrorism
It’s impossible to make this up. Maybe George Orwell could but ordinary humans could not. Saudi Arabia, a financier of terrorists, an armourer of terrorists, a promoter of the vicious Wahhabism upon which terrorists thrive, is hosting an international conference on how to counter terrorism!

Saudi Special Forces show their skills during opening ceremony of the new Emir Nayef Center for Special Elite Operations in the Dorma region on September 25, 2012.
Which is why everybody is falling over with laughter. The cartoonists are having a field day; the comics have got weeks of jokes; and depressed people everywhere are being cheered by the thought that, as ever, the high and mighty (and, in this case, the very high and mighty) most definitely have feet of clay.

The raw truth is that the Saudis are preaching peace while, at the same time, they are causing destruction. In Quetta (Pakistan), Saudi money, arms and philosophy have just resulted in about ninety Hazara Shia being blasted apart.

In Bahrainthere is a Saudi suppression of democracy in which hundreds have been imprisoned, tortured and killed.

In Syria, there is Saudi support for the throat-slitters and death squads roaming the land. The Assad government has a democratic mandate and retains popular support yet foreign powers, Saudi Arabia in particular, are fomenting large-scale criminal violence.

Furthermore, Saudi Arabiais promoting a barren, totally destructive, war-creatingsectarianism throughout the whole of Islam, while attempting to look as if butter would not melt in its mouth.

However, nobody is deceived by Saudi Arabia or deceived by the high-sounding principles of the International Conference being held in Riyadh. The Conference proclaims its intent to:-

• highlight the causes of terrorism

• illustrate the relationships between terrorism and money laundering, and between narcotics and arms trafficking

• identify the structural aspects and composition of terrorist organizations

• share experiences in combating international terrorism

• teach practical conclusions and suggestions to support international efforts in fighting terrorism.

Firstly, as regards causes, terrorism is instigated and promoted not only by Saudi Arabia but by its friends, the USA and Israel. Thus the USA has recently removed the Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) from its list of foreign terrorist organizations so that more Iranians (the total is already around twelve thousand) maybe killed by MKO guns and bombs. The MKO is “sowing seeds of blind extremism and religious sectarianism in the world” with the USA trying to say there are ‘good’ terrorists and ‘bad’ terrorists when the truth is that all terrorists are bad.

Secondly, apart from directly assassinating five Iranian scientists, Israel has an on-going program of genocide against the Palestinians.

Furthermore, the USA, Israel and Saudi Wahhabism came together as terrorists to murder three thousand Americans on 9/11 so that war might be declared not just on Islam but, more particularly, on democratic Islam to which theSaudis are most rigorously opposed. (Anybody who doubts thatshould do an internet search for World Trade Center Tower Number Seven which was not hit by an aeroplane and yet it collapsed into powder).

Thirdly, when it comes to money-laundering for the purpose of financing terrorism, the Saudis are past masters.

Fourthly, in order to identify the structural aspects and composition of terrorist organizations the Saudis need only to examine the groups andorganisations which they finance and create.

Fifthly, the Saudis have plenty of experiences to share in creating terrorism. In particular, their vicious suppression of democracy is an organised campaign of terrorism in itself.

As regards international effortsto fight terrorism, the most sensible wayforward would be to remove the terrorist regimes of countries like Saudi Arabia and Qatar (which is also supporting terrorism in Syria) and introducedemocracy. Another way forward would be to end Israel’s continual terrorist aggressions against the Palestinians.

A still more important way would be to ask the USA to make a big effort to stop supporting terrorism and to try to stop bullying any country which wants to be independent.Unfortunately the USA, the supreme drone terrorist abroad, is now intent on introducing drone terrorism to its domestic population. Moreover, its Homeland Security Agency has now bought 1.6 billion dum-dum (expanding) bullets for use against civilians. All in all, the USA, always at war, is trying for the title of the Greatest Terrorist At Home and Abroad.

Also Saudi Arabia, the USA and Israel should try to understand that there is always a tide in history, a profound movement of ideas, a manifestation of aspirations whichwill eventually win through. At present the tide is called Democracy for All, not the USA version of a so-called ‘democracy’merely for a plutocratic elite.DemocracyFor All is being suppressed partly directly by vicious autocrats in the Persian Gulf and partly because those autocrats have made a deal with other anti-democratic forces of which the USA and UK, in their racist way, always fearing Arab democracy, are among the worst examples.

The aim of the deal is to protect the expansion of that terrorist attack dogcalled Zionist Israel. The content of the deal is simple: the USA and the UK will give succour to corrupt, decaying autocratic regimes, will help them suppress the democratic desires of their populations, if those regimes in practice ensure that Zionist Israel is free to commit a creeping genocide of Palestinians, make more settlements in occupied territory, push further into other countries, as has happened with Syria in the last few days, and commit as many acts of terrorism that it likes.

So it’s at first funnyto think of the Saudis hosting a conference against terrorism but the fun does not stay long as we remember that the conference members are among the killers and terrorists of the world.
