Trustworthiness a major principle in upcoming elections

86f3fd46e03369ef6d0a3f2fdc746e32_LThe Iranian Interior Minister described trustworthiness, justice-orientation and protecting people’s vote as three major principles in the Islamic Republic upcoming presidential and City and Village Councils elections.

According to IRIB World Service, Mostafa Mohammd Njjar told reporters in the southern city of Kerman on Saturday: “Efforts are being made in order to make ground for the mass presence of people in the upcoming presidential and City and Village Councils elections.”
The Iranian Minister added that 23 out of 24 processes of holding elections are electronic and stated: “The executive stage of holding presidential and City and Village Councils elections are being examined in the Interior Ministry.”
Iran’s presidential and City and Village Councils elections are scheduled to be held on June 13th, 2013.
