Palestinian MP Sherafi: The day of liberation is looming

Palestinian lawmaker Yousuf Al-Sherafi said the improvement of the Palestinian armed resistance and the changes taking place in the Arab world heralds the imminent demise of the Israeli occupation state.

During a private meeting held on the occasion of the 65th Nakba anniversary in northern Gaza, Sherafi stated that the Palestinian people’s right of return is inalienable and no one is entitled to waive it.

He also said that the option of resistance is the only way to enable the Palestinian refugees to return to their homes, free the prisoners and liberate the whole Palestinian soil from the occupation.

For his part, ex-detainee Mu’aad Abu Sharkh said during the meeting that the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, despite the harsh incarceration conditions, are still adherent to the resistance option as a means to restore the usurped rights and reject all conciliatory approaches.

The ex-detainee also hailed the role of the Palestinian resistance in extracting the freedom of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners during previous swap deals.
