Al-Nusra’s Offensive against Army Positions Repelled in Quneitra
The Syrian troops clashed with al-Nusra militants who were attempting to occupy one of the army’s military positions in Hazar village, and warded off their offensive.
A number of terrorists were killed and wounded in the clashes, while their military grid sustained major damage.
Meantime, the Syrian army’s missile and artillery units targeted the al-Nusra Front’s moves and gathering centers in Tal al-Hamriya in the Southern parts of Hazar village, and inflicted major loss and damage on them.
In a relevant development on Friday, the Syrian army troops and air force pounded terrorists’ gatherings and movements in the provinces of Damascus and Quneitra, inflicting major losses on the militants.
The army aircraft bombed terrorists’ gatherings in the village of Ein al-Fijeh al-Qous in Wadi al-Bardi region in Northwestern Damascus, killing and wounding a number of militants.
The army soldiers meantime opened heavy machinegun fire at terrorists’ movements near the village of al-Hamidiyeh in Quneitra countryside, killing or wounding several militants.
