Al-Qassam: Determined to continue the battle of preparation

Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, has reiterated its determination to continue its military preparation and training for the battle of liberation from the Israeli occupation.

This came during a memorial ceremony staged by the Brigades in al-Shati refugee camp to pay tribute to martyr Mohamed al-Quqa, one of its field commanders who died on a mission in Gaza recently

The ceremony was attended by the family of the martyr, citizens and many officials from Hamas and members of al-Qassam Brigades.

Addressing the attendees, a spokesman for the Brigades said that the battle of preparation and training would continue until defeating the occupation, stressing that the Brigades “has no choice but to fight this battle.”

The spokesman hailed “the martyrs of preparation” as “an accolade for the Palestinian people,” and called for honoring them through following the same path they trod.

At the end of the ceremony, the Brigades honored the family of martyr Quqa and showed video footage of the martyr as he was participating in training activities and working at the military manufacturing unit.

Quqa, 37, died last Sunday of serious injuries he sustained during a blast that happened accidently during a mission.
