Great Satan US Seeking to Establish FSA Front in Southern Hasaka to Spread towards Deir Ezzur

The US has asked the Free Syrian Army (FSA) units deployed at al-Tanf border-crossing to leave the region for the city of al-Shadadi in Southern Hasaka to establish a front for an imminent operation towards Deir Ezzur, an Arab media outlet reported.

The Arabic-language al-Watan daily reported that the US military officials have intensified talks with the Liwa Maqawir al-Thawra affiliated to the FSA to leave their position in al-Tanf border-crossing in Southern Homs for al-Shadadi in Southern Hasaka to launch an imminent operation towards Deir Ezzur.

Al-Watan further added that the US move came following the Syrian Army advances towards Deir Ezzur from different flanks.

The Arab daily said that the FSA, in return, is trying to persuade the US to start Deir Ezzur battle from Badiyeh (desert), adding that the FSA has also called on the US to back them up in a possible battle against the Syrian Army troops and the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) in their push toward Deir Ezzur.

Al-Watan further quoted Commander of Jeish al-Maqawir al-Thawra Mohanad Talla’a as saying that they demanded the US army to support their plan to form a new army known as the National Army from Jeish al-Maqawir fighter to enter Deir Ezzur and seize the city from ISIL.

Talla’a was quoted as saying by al-Watan that the US has not agreed with the formation of the National Army by al-Maqawir which possibly means that the US army is not pursuing nothing but evacuating al-Tang base to hand it over to the Russians.

A leading Arab newspaper reported on Wednesday that Washington and Moscow were in talks to make an agreement to deliver the control of al-Tanf military base in Syria near the border with Iraq to the Russian forces.

“Preliminary talks are underway for a major agreement between Russia and the US to withdraw the American forces from al-Tanf and deliver its control to Russia,” al-Akhbar reported on Wednesday.

According to the report, the talks came after several members of Jeish Maqawir al-Thawra terrorist group affiliated to the Free Army Syrian Army (FSA) defected the US forces in al-Tanf.

Al-Akhbar said that the al-Thawra terrorists decided to leave al-Tanf after they were informed of the US-Russia possible agreement and the Syrian army’s massive operations to free the Northern parts of Sweida province, adding that a number of them surrendered to the Syrian troops.

Sources affiliated to terrorist groups disclosed on Wednesday that another group of al-Thawra gunmen and backed by the US army surrendered to the Syrian Army troops in al-Tanf region in Southern Homs.

The sources said that a group of al-Thawra terrorists fled its positions in al-Tanf region and surrendered to the Syrian Army troops with their arms and military equipment.

In the meantime, a Syrian army commander said that several groups of Jeish Maqawir al-Thawra terrorists handed over their weapons and military hardware to the army men after they surrendered.

Also, some unofficial sources reported that the US Army decided to leave al-Tanf base and given a 24-hour ultimatum to its militant allies to hand over their weapons.
