Reports on the Syrian Army Killing a Family in its Way to Jisr al-Shughour Debunked

The family of Abdul-Jalil Khalil Khalil refuted the fabricated fake news of al-Jazeera TV alleging the family was killed by the army while en route to Jisr al-Shughour city in Idleb governorate.

In an interview with SANA, Abdul-Jalil Khalil Khalil ‘Abu Khalil’ debunked al-Jazeera’s allegations and its eye-witnesses’ testimonies.

Abu Khalil said “al-Jazeera’s allegations are mere lies… The army officers and soldiers received us and offered us what we needed”.

“After al-Jazeera aired that fake news, lots of people called me… My father and mother were terrified before everyone knew that it’s mere lies”, he added.

Rasha al-Ahmad, Abu Khalil wife, said “When we returned to our city we heard people saying that we were killed… Our families were frightened all day… I want to stress that the syrian army was very kind to us… Al-Jazeera’s news are lies and fabrications”.
