Israeli Aggression Against Gaza continues for 159 Day: Dozens of Palestinians Martyred and Injured

Dozens of Palestinians, including children and women, were martyred and injured in a series of Israeli air strikes and artillery shelling on the Gaza Strip on the 159th day of continuous aggression.

Reports from health and local sources in Gaza confirmed that two people were killed and four children were injured when Israeli occupation forces bombed a house in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, north of Gaza City. Additional citizens were martyred in a separate bombing in the Zaytoun neighborhood.

Further casualties were reported when Israeli airstrikes targeted a house in Gaza City, resulting in injuries and the disappearance of others. The north and west of Khan Yunis and the vicinity of Hamad Town were also bombarded.

The previous evening, 10 citizens were killed and others injured in an Israeli attack on Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. Since October 7, 2023, the ongoing aggression has resulted in over 31,000 Palestinian deaths and more than 72,000 injuries, predominantly women and children.

Despite the devastating circumstances, the people of Gaza welcomed the month of Ramadan with decorations and prayers, vowing not to let the occupation steal their religious observance.

Facing displacement and severe economic hardship, the residents are determined to maintain their dignity and faith during this period of heightened violence and suffering.
