US-UK coalition carries out three airstrikes in Yemen’s Ibb province

U.S. and British fighter jets have initiated multiple airstrikes on various locations within Yemen’s southwestern Ibb province. This action comes as Yemeni naval forces continue their maritime operations against ships associated with Israel in the Red Sea.

According to local sources, Yemen’s al-Masirah television network reported that early on Sunday, three strikes targeted the Maytam area, situated to the east of Ibb’s provincial capital.

Additional information is currently not accessible.

No details have been made available yet about possible casualties or the severity of the damage.

The US-UK coalition has yet to issue a statement regarding the airstrikes.

The people of Yemen have publicly expressed their support for Palestine in its struggle against Israeli occupation. Their solidarity has become more pronounced following the commencement of a brutal conflict in Gaza by the Israeli regime on October 7. This assault has resulted in the deaths of nearly 41,000 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children.

The occupying force has implemented a “total blockade” on the region, severing access to fuel, electricity, food, and water for the over two million Palestinians residing there.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced that they will continue their strikes until Israel ceases its persistent ground and air assaults in Gaza.

Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Ansarullah resistance movement, stated that directly confronting America is both “a great honor and a blessing.”

The assaults have forced some of the world’s leading shipping and oil companies to suspend their transit activities through one of the most vital maritime trade corridors.

Tankers are choosing to travel thousands of extra miles around the African continent rather than passing through the Suez Canal.
