Rabid dog Israeli regime kills Hamas spokesman in assault on northern Gaza as assassination spree rages on

Reports indicate that Israeli airstrikes in the northern Gaza Strip have resulted in the death of Abdul-Latif al-Qanou, a spokesperson for the Palestinian resistance group Hamas.

An Israeli airstrike resulted in the death of the official when it targeted his tent in Jabalia, according to multiple media sources, including the Palestinian Quds News Network, reported on Thursday.

Reports indicated that the incident also resulted in injuries to several individuals, including children.

The movement has not yet issued a statement regarding the reports.

The recent assassination reported marks the latest incident in an ongoing series of targeted killings amid Israel’s renewed military campaign in Gaza, which resumed in October 2023. This follows a brief pause during which ceasefire agreements with Hamas were frequently breached, with lethal force being employed.

In a development that has heightened tensions in the region, the suspected assassination occurred merely days following the regime’s targeted elimination of two key figures from Hamas’s Political Bureau. Ismail Barhoum and Salah al-Bardaweel were fatally attacked in separate incidents, one occurring at a hospital and the other at a tent.

Hamas has reported that at least 11 members of its Political Bureau have been assassinated by the regime.

Among the individuals reportedly targeted in the assassination are prominent figures such as Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, Saleh al-Arouri, and Rawhi Mushtaha.

Hamas has pledged to persevere in the face of an assassination initiative, affirming that the resistance movement is firmly entrenched in Palestinian territory.

In a recent statement, Hamas spokesperson Sami Abu Zuhri underscored that the lives of the group’s leaders hold the same value as those of Palestinian children, asserting that targeted assassinations will not deter the movement from continuing its fight for liberation.

The recent attacks by the regime have significantly increased the suffering and casualties among civilians in the Palestinian territory.

The ongoing intense military offensive has resulted in the deaths of over 50,000 Palestinians to date.

On Wednesday, reports emerged indicating that the Israeli military conducted strikes on various sites throughout Gaza, notably including an assault on the southern city of Khan Younis. This operation resulted in injuries to several children, sources confirmed.

In Gaza City’s Saftawi neighborhood, a bombing incident resulted in the deaths of an entire family of six, as their residential building became the target of an attack.

The death toll from early morning Israeli airstrikes has climbed to at least nine Palestinians, according to reports.
