In a recent statement, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi expressed his appreciation to the citizens of Iran for their involvement in the International Quds Day demonstrations, underscoring that the issue of Palestine remains an enduring priority.
In a statement on his Instagram account, Araqchi highlighted his participation in the event, aligning himself with the Iranian populace. He depicted the significant gathering as a testament to the Iranian people’s resistance against oppression and their keen awareness of the regional dynamics over the past year.
He emphasized the crucial role of the populace, referring to them as “the source of power and the ultimate form of deterrence” for the nation.
Araqchi emphasized Iran’s steadfast position regarding Palestine, declaring, “The Palestinian cause will remain in our collective memory.”
The annual Quds Day demonstrations, observed globally on the final Friday of Ramadan, were marked this year on March 28.
