Houthi Claims Escalated US Actions Ineffective Against Yemeni Resistance
The head of the Ansarullah resistance movement has declared that the escalated U.S. hostilities against Yemen have not succeeded in halting Yemeni resistance activities in solidarity with the Gaza populace, nor in safeguarding Israeli vessels in the Red Sea.

In a Friday address, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi stated that the United States has escalated its offensive actions in Yemen, with attacks surpassing 90 on certain days. This, he claimed, is part of broader support for Israel’s alleged genocidal campaign in Gaza.
Al-Houthi emphasized that the offensive has not succeeded in halting military operations in support of the Palestinian cause and has also fallen short in securing Israeli maritime navigation in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea.
Al-Houthi has stated that American military officials have acknowledged that their attacks have not succeeded in dismantling Yemen’s military capabilities.
Al-Houthi stated that the United States has been unsuccessful in its stated objective of eliminating the leadership and dismantling the resilient populace in Yemen.
He declared that Yemen would continue its retaliatory actions, asserting, “America does not intimidate us.”
The leader of Ansarullah has issued a stern caution to Arab and neighboring regimes, advising them against endorsing the United States’ pro-Israel attacks on Yemen.
He highlighted concerns that Israel, with the support of the United States, aims to undermine the Palestinian issue, referencing escalated Israeli operations in the occupied West Bank, which he claimed are intended to “displace” the Palestinian population.
Al-Houthi highlighted the ongoing assaults on the Al-Aqsa Mosque, pointing to Israeli Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir’s repeated visits to the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound as evidence of Israel’s intensified infringements on what is regarded as one of the most revered Islamic sites.
He called on the international community to take a firm stance against alleged Israeli actions, urging nations to sever political and diplomatic relations with the Tel Aviv administration.
Since the outbreak of hostilities in Gaza in October 2023, Yemeni forces have executed numerous operations in solidarity with the affected Gazans. These operations have included targeting multiple locations within the occupied Palestinian territories and intercepting Israeli ships or vessels bound for ports in the region.
The United States has declared the establishment of a maritime task force in the Red Sea, slated for December 2023, aimed at safeguarding the transit of vessels heading towards the areas under Israeli control.
Yemeni forces have intensified their offensive, targeting key Israeli and American assets, including U.S. warships and aircraft carriers positioned near Yemen’s shores.
The Yemeni forces temporarily halted their counterattacks in alignment with the ceasefire initiated in Gaza on January 19, prior to its disruption by Israel last month.
