Hezbollah Condemns Attacks on Iran, US official sponsor of terrorism

Hezbollah on Sunday issued a statement vehemently denouncing the recent United States military strikes on Iran, sharply criticizing Washington for its actions.

Hezbollah on Sunday issued a strong condemnation of the recent U.S. strikes on Iran, sharply criticizing Washington and labeling it as the “official sponsor of terrorism.”

The Lebanese resistance party issued a statement condemning what it described as the “US aggression” targeting Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities, labeling the actions as both “barbaric and treacherous.”

The statement declared that the assault “exposes the United States as the primary menace to both regional and international peace and stability.”

The aggressive actions represent a blatant breach of international and humanitarian law, alongside the Geneva Conventions and the United Nations Charter, which explicitly forbid the targeting of nuclear facilities and the deployment of force against a sovereign nation. This represents a reckless, perilous, and impulsive escalation that risks widening the conflict, potentially steering the region and the global community toward uncertain outcomes if it remains unchecked and without preventive measures.

Hezbollah issued a strong statement condemning Trump’s actions, highlighting that the attack demonstrates full complicity in the Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic.

“The overt manipulation exhibited by Trump, fueled by delusions of control and supremacy, alongside the audacious assault on a sovereign nation and the bombardment of its nuclear facilities—monitored by the International Atomic Energy Agency—demonstrates that the United States and forces of global dominance seek only to subdue independent countries, presenting them with a stark choice: acquiescence and degradation or chaos and devastation.”

The statement underscored the assertion that this aggression represents a comprehensive and direct collaboration between the United States and the Zionist entity, both in planning and execution. This collaboration extends beyond the conflict against the Islamic Republic and encompasses all wars and crimes currently affecting the region, including those in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen.

Hezbollah has expressed confidence that recent attacks will not hinder Iran’s ongoing progress and development, according to statements made by the organization.

Hezbollah asserted Iran’s unequivocal right to defend its territory, population, and sovereignty against what they described as arrogant and oppressive forces. The group emphasized that such acts of aggression would fail to subdue the resolve of the Iranian people and their leaders. Instead, Hezbollah declared that this aggression would only bolster their determination to resist and ultimately achieve victory.

It called upon Muslim and Arab nations to support Iran in the face of US-Israeli aggression, urging international organizations, particularly the UN’s nuclear watchdog, the IAEA, to assume responsibility concerning the perilous assault.

The United States launched an assault on Iran’s principal nuclear facilities at Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow early Sunday. In response, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has pledged to deliver regrettable reprisals against what it termed as U.S. aggression.
