Iran: Strong Military Retaliation Prompted ‘israel’ to Unilaterally Cease Hostilities
Iran's Supreme National Security Council announced that the significant military counteraction under True Promise III compelled Israel to independently suspend its aggressive actions.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the chief Iranian security authority praised the nation’s security forces for showcasing “exemplary courage” following the cessation of hostilities after 12 days, as per an accord between Tel Aviv and Washington.
The statement declared that in reaction to actions deemed aggressive by the Zionist adversary, personnel from the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, guided by the directive of Leader and Commander-in-Chief Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, retaliated with notable valor against each act of hostility.
The announcement followed Israel’s confirmation of a cessation of hostilities, initially declared by Trump on Tuesday morning. While Tehran has yet to officially acknowledge the truce, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated last night that Iran would cease its retaliatory measures “on the condition that the Israeli regime halts its unlawful aggression against the Iranian people.”
The SNSC has reported that recent military actions by the Iranian armed forces included missile strikes aimed at the US-operated Al-Udeid air base in Qatar, as well as the entirety of the occupied territories.
The statement praised “the extraordinary vigilance, timely action, resistance, and solidarity of the Iranian people” for thwarting the adversary’s primary strategy. It highlighted the conditions created for “the steadfastness and stunning power of the warriors of Islam,” cultivated through years of innovative and relentless endeavor, to be effectively utilized during the 12 days of intense and adept resistance.
The outcome has been hailed as a “divine gift,” attributed to the nation’s foresight, the armed forces’ determination, and the prudent leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution. This combination is said to have led to the adversary’s regret, defeat, and a unilateral end to hostilities.
Iran’s military forces continue to stay on high alert, prepared to deliver a decisive and regret-inducing response to any further acts of aggression.
On June 13, Israel carried out an aggressive operation targeting Iran, resulting in the deaths of military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians.
On June 22, the United States collaborated with Israel to launch an assault, targeting three Iranian nuclear sites. This action constitutes a significant breach of the United Nations Charter, international law, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
The Iranian military has vowed to “open the gates of hell” on Israel, initiating a series of retaliatory missile and drone strikes targeting strategic locations throughout the occupied regions.
The following day, Iran initiated a barrage of missile strikes targeting al-Udeid air base in Qatar, which stands as the most significant American military installation in West Asia.
In a statement issued after the successful operation dubbed ‘Tidings of Victory’, Iran’s armed forces announced that the move was a response to what they described as the “blatant military aggression by the criminal regime of the United States” targeting the Islamic Republic’s nuclear facilities.
The base functions as the headquarters for the United States Air Force Command and is regarded as the most strategic asset of American military forces in the West Asia region.
