Iranian Military Leader Declares Full-Scale Response to ‘israeli’, US Aggression

Iran's senior military leader has declared that the nation's Armed Forces effectively countered Israeli and U.S. aggression, demonstrating their comprehensive capabilities and military strength during last month's attacks orchestrated by Tel Aviv and Washington.

Iran’s senior military leader has declared that the nation’s Armed Forces responded to Israeli and American actions with comprehensive capabilities and military strength during last month’s attacks initiated by Tel Aviv and Washington.

Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, the chief of staff of the Armed Forces, conveyed his statements during a phone call with Qatar’s Defense Minister Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah on Tuesday.

Iran’s Armed Forces have effectively countered aggression, employing their full range of capabilities to respond with substantial force, the commander remarked.

On June 13, Israel launched a series of airstrikes targeting the Islamic Republic, with significant backing from American military and intelligence resources.

Iran’s Armed Forces launched an initial response through extensive defensive exercises.

In the subsequent period, they initiated swift and decisive counteroffensives, executing precision strikes on key nuclear, military, and industrial sites located deep within the occupied Palestinian territories.

Under the codename Operation True Promise III, a forceful response was executed with the deployment of hundreds of ballistic missiles, including many multi-warhead and supersonic types. The operation also utilized numerous armed drones in its arsenal.

Strikes targeted central Tel Aviv, a major economic center; Haifa, a crucial deep-water port; and Be’er Sheva, a key area for technological and modern development.

Under intense pressure from the retaliatory actions, the regime found itself compelled to pursue a ceasefire after 12 days, despite possessing some of the United States’ most sophisticated missile defense systems poised to counter the Iranian onslaught. Reports from Hebrew-language media in Israel indicate that Bat Yam, located in the Israeli-occupied territories, bears a striking resemblance to the devastated parts of the Gaza Strip following Iran’s missile attacks on the regime.

The commander also addressed a ballistic missile attack launched by Iranian forces targeting al-Udeid, the United States’ key regional airbase in Qatar. This strike was a response to American assaults on Iranian nuclear facilities, which occurred near the end of the Israeli conflict.

Mousavi remarked that the United States extended comprehensive support to the regime during the conflict, offering unrestricted assistance, which included logistical support.

He emphasized that, despite the aggression, the Muslim nations and governments worldwide, along with free-thinking individuals, expressed strong and decisive support for the Islamic Republic.

In a statement, the official emphasized that the series of events highlighting both aggression and the subsequent response demonstrated the Islamic Republic’s “rightfulness” to the global community. Furthermore, it was asserted that neither the United States nor the Zionist regime adhered to international principles or norms.

During this time, he commended Qatar as a “friendly state” and praised its firm denunciation of the Israeli aggression, expressing appreciation for Doha’s “valuable” stance throughout the military conflict.

The commander also praised the emirate for its support of the embattled Palestinian people in their fight against Israeli occupation and aggression.

A Qatari official highlighted the nation’s early condemnation of Israeli actions, emphasizing its refusal to allow the use of its airspace for any aggression against the Islamic Republic.

He also expressed condolences to Mousavi for the martyrdom of his predecessor, Major General Mohammad Baqeri, in the Israeli attacks.
