100 Shia and Sunni Scholars Denounce Trump and Netanyahu as Adversaries of God, ‘Corrupters on Earth’
In a joint statement, 100 Muslim scholars and intellectuals from around the globe have pronounced US President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as adversaries engaged in a battle against divine principles and labeled them as corruptors on the earth.

They also pledged complete and steadfast support for the sagacious and decisive leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. They hailed him as the guiding force for the awakening of the Islamic Ummah and the emblem of Islamic dignity, recognizing his prudent, courageous, and wise direction as pivotal in guiding the path of honor, resistance, and unity among the Islamic nations.
The statement was issued following derogatory remarks by Trump and reports of Netanyahu considering the possibility of assassinating Ayatollah Khamenei.
The list of signatories encompassed Shia and Sunni scholars from a diverse range of countries, including Iraq, Turkey, Palestine, Pakistan, Libya, India, Australia, Kenya, Oman, Russia, Syria, Algeria, Lebanon, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Tunisia, Bahrain, the United States, Sudan, Qatar, Thailand, Yemen, Mauritania, Egypt, Indonesia, Senegal, and Jordan.
Citing verses from the Holy Qur’an, religious scholars have labeled Trump, Netanyahu, and other Israeli regime leaders as “enemies waging war against God and His Messenger” and “corrupters on earth.” This declaration is due to their roles in perpetuating corruption, bloodshed, the occupation of Islamic territories, atrocities against Palestinians, and crimes against humanity.
The statement declared that, under the established tenets of Islamic law (Sharia), any attempt at compromise, normalization of relations, or cooperation with the Zionist occupation regime and the coercive policies of the United States is strictly prohibited. It further emphasized that such actions are a clear violation of the rights of the Palestinian people and other oppressed nations in the region.
Prominent scholars have urged Muslims and the intellectual elites within the Islamic community to join forces and establish a cohesive front in order to address the perceived conspiracies orchestrated by the United States, Israel, and their allies.
Today, the necessity for unity within the Islamic Ummah is more pressing than ever, emphasizing the need for intellectual, religious, and political cohesion.
The statement recognized the clear and thorough victory of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the 12-day conflict initiated by Israel, asserting that this triumph indicates the conclusion of the era of unopposed American and Israeli dominance.
On June 13, Israeli forces reportedly initiated a controversial offensive against Iran, resulting in the deaths of numerous high-ranking officials, nuclear scientists, and civilians.
Within a span of less than 24 hours, Iran launched a counteroffensive, unleashing a torrent of missiles and drones. This was succeeded by a series of operations under the banner of “True Promise III” as part of its ongoing retaliatory measures.

According to the statement, the Palestinian issue and the status of al-Quds remain critical priorities for the Islamic Ummah. The statement emphasizes that the legitimate struggle will persist until Palestine is fully liberated and what is termed as the “cancerous Zionist entity” is entirely eradicated.
