Foreign TVs admit to Feb 11’s strong presence

Iranians’ unprecedented turnout in the celebrations marking the 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory inspired awe among the foreign TVs.

France 24, Sky News, BBC, APTN, and the CNN were among the first TV networks to display shots of masses of Iranians in Azadi Square and admit to the huge scale of the rally.

Even the al-Arabiya channel which had been displaying doctored images and reports to downgrade people’s presence in the rallies had no alternative but to admit the presence of people.

Al-Jazeera TV, too, showed pictures of people’s presence in Azadi Square.
