Ahmadinejad :’IRI must turn to a developed, advanced country’

IRI President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Saturday that every individual especially the executive branch of government must mobilize efforts to rebuild Iran comprehensively.

Ahmadinejad made the remark in a ceremony to introduce the president’s special aide Ali Akbar Mehrabian.

“Everyone with any idea or belief and affiliation to any political wing must shoulder such a responsibility to rebuild Iran. Developed Iran will be in line with national aspirations and will benefit the entire nation,” Ahmadinejad said.

He said that an advanced Iran will guarantee aspirations of the Iranian nation.

“An underdeveloped, poor and backward nation cannot express itself even though it had the best thing to say. So its word will not be reflected anywhere,” he said.

President Ahmadinejad said that it is the right of the Iranian nation to have a powerful and advanced presence in the international community, adding that Iran has considerations about the state of affairs in the international community.

Elsewhere in his speech, Ahmadinejad highlighted the cultural activities as effective in removing difficulties of humanity.

He said that Iran has a rich culture and would offer successful models for progress and welfare of humanity in the international community.
