A Reflection Islamic Policy: All Iraqi groups are in contact with Islamic Iran

Tehran’s ambassador to Baghdad says all Iraqi groups have interactions with Iran.
“All Iraqi groups are in contact with Iran and this is not something new,” Ambassador Hassan Danaiifar told a press conference on Monday hosted by the Mehr News Agency.

He also said, “Iran advises all Iraqi groups to work with each other.”

The ambassador also confirmed reports that Iyad Allawi, the head of the Iraqiya bloc, has requested to meet him. “The Iraqiya List and Iyad Allawi personally has invited me for a meeting.”

He also dismissed claims that Islamic Republic of Iran has become more active in Iraq since the Americans left the country, saying these remarks fall within “Iranophobia project”.

Iran’s top diplomat in Iraq also said until this date Saudi Arabia has not opened its embassy in Baghdad and “it is felt that they (Saudis) do not recognize the Iraqi government.”
